Toni Ford,

who took a part-time MA in Modern and Contemporary Studies, writes:

Studying part-time is never easy – there’s a reason you’re not studying full-time, after all! I was in the last semester of a Master’s degree in Contemporary Culture when I realised I was going to be unable to pay the last instalment of my fees. Working more meant less time to write, it was Catch-22! A grant from the S.Y. Killingley Trust helped me to stop worrying about money and write a first-class dissertation. I can’t thank the Trust enough for their support.
