I was thrilled that I was accepted onto the MA Art Psychotherapy Practice in 2012 by Leeds Metropolitan University. I have just completed my second year of three on the part-time course. It has been a challenge travelling Newcastle to Sheffield every week with childcare, work commitments, travel costs along with large course fees and materials.

It is difficult put into words what it has meant to have the support of S.Y. Killingley Trust throughout my study, I feel an angel’s been looking after me.

I simply could not have completed the course without S.Y. Killingley Trust support and for this I will be forever grateful. Through the Trust’s personal interest in my studies, work and aspirations they have empowered and inspired me to be the best I can, thank you so very much.
Through the support and encouragement I have received from the Trust, I will be able to help those less fortunate in my community, and therefore hopefully assist in changing someone else’s life, as S.Y. Killingley Memorial Trust has assisted in changing mine.

In loving memory and thanks to Siew-Yue Killingley and to all her loving family and friends at the Trust.
